Claudia A. Baio has been a member of the Connecticut bar since 1989. She served as the judicial clerk to the Honorable Flemming L. Norcott, Jr. of the Connecticut Appellate Court before entering private practice. She was an invited member of the Oliver Ellsworth Inns of Court and served as its secretary. She is an active member of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association, Connecticut Bar Association, Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, Defense Research Institute, and the Hartford County Bar Association (past Director/Officer 1999-2008, President 2007-08). In addition, she is an officer of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and the Connecticut State Representative to DRI, an elected member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel (2007) and was elected as a Fellow to the Connecticut Bar Foundation (2008). Ms. Baio has authored articles on insurance coverage issues and gives educational presentations to insurance carriers and seminars on issues relating to insurance coverage and civil litigation. She has taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law and serves as an arbitrator/fact finder for the Hartford, New Britain and Middletown Superior Courts. She is admitted to the Connecticut State and Federal Bars, the Massachusetts State Bar, the Michigan State Bar, District Court for District of Columbia, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Ms. Baio practiced law at and was a partner in a Hartford law firm in the Litigation Practice group, from where she left to open the staff counsel/captive defense firm for Reliance Insurance Company and then this current independent firm. She was listed in Connecticut Magazine 2007 and 2008 Connecticut "Super Lawyers," and has been selected as one of the Connecticut members of the American Counsel Association.

Andrew M. Dewey has been a member of the Connecticut bar since 1989. He has been a member of the Rhode Island bar since 2003 and has been admitted to the U.S. District Court since 1990. He was a named partner at a West Hartford general practice firm, where he spent the majority of his time handling workers' compensation and litigation matters prior to joining this firm. While affiliated with his prior firm Attorney Dewey handled matters on behalf of claimants as well which gives him a unique perspective in handling defense matters. He has experience consulting with claims professionals and recovery specialists in the area of subrogation of workers compensation liens in third party actions. He is an active member of the Hartford County Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association, (He has authored an amicus brief on behalf of the CDLA, as a member of the Amicus Committee), and Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association.

Jennifer E. Wheelock has been a member of the Connecticut bar since 2003, the Massachusetts bar since 2002 and the Rhode Island bar since 2004. She obtained her J.D. degree from the Western New England School of Law in 1998. She is a member of the Hartford County Bar Association (co-chair of the Young Lawyers Committee 2007-2009), Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association. Ms. Wheelock's practice areas include Insurance Defense; Subrogation, workers' compensation and general litigation.

James A. Mongillo has been a member of the Connecticut Bar since 1995. He has also been admitted to the U.S. District Court since 1996 and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals since 2001. He is a member of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and the New Haven County Bar Association and was a member of the Quinnipiac Law Review from 1993 to 1995. Mr. Mongillo has practiced law in the personal injury defense and plaintiff's personal injury areas throughout his legal career. He has previously practiced as house counsel in the trial division of Nationwide Insurance. He obtained his J.D. degree from Quinnipiac College School of Law in 1995.

Neha Parikh has been a member of the Massachusetts bar since 1999 and the Connecticut Bar since 2006. She obtained her J.D. degree from the Northeastern University School of Law in 1999. Prior to joining Baio & Associates, P.C., Ms. Parikh was an associate at a mid-sized insurance defense firm in Boston where she focused her practice in the areas of premises liability, products liability, employment law and workers' compensation. Ms. Parikh is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Hartford County Bar Association (as chair Diversity Committee 2007-2009), Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association and the South Asian Bar Association of Connecticut.
